If you want to stay with Ubuntu, you should be able go into “Additional Drivers” and enable the STA driver for your adapter. I have the same problem but I only found out today as that was the first time I was trying to use this slot on my Dell Latitude E I’ll attach the “dmesg egrep ‘sdhci mmc'” as a file. None of these machines are actually supported by the manufacturers for Linux. All other devices work as expected.
A X server restart should restore the normal behavior not tested yet. The driver needs to be reloaded to get it out of this state. ISO images are available from http: No tweaking, updating drivers, or trying to figure out what’s not working necessary, although I’m sure the time will come.

I inserted llnux 4GB card today, and only part of the directory entries was shown digital camera picturesthose shown could not be opended read error. I can still type, the right and middle mouse button still interact correctly and the lijux interaction is unaffected.
It looks like a duplicate of bug I am guessing it could be a timing problem between different threads on the CPU or GPU drawing different parts of a composite.
